a bit about us...
Local Coffee opened in 2009, often considered San Antonio’s birthplace of specialty coffee. It grew to a roasting company and 11 retail locations in SA, Austin, and Dallas.
In February 2020, the founders, Robby and Neesha, sold the company but retained full ownership of the Pearl location and the name, Local Coffee, and adding “Founders” to the name to signify it is the only original Local Coffee in San Antonio.

Who we serve
Our coffee program is developed in-house, from sourcing and selecting coffees to creating blends, establishing roast profiles, and designing our packaging.
We work with GFN as our roasting and production partner, handling storage, roasting, and packaging to our specifications.
Our coffee program is guided by Kyle and Robby, whose shared experience goes back to the earliest days of coffee roasting for Local and Merit. That history gives us a consistent understanding of the coffees we select, how we want them roasted, and how they should taste.
Even our packaging is intentional—custom-designed for size, function, and appearance, using post-consumer recycled paper.
Every part of the program reflects decisions we’ve made ourselves, supported by a roasting partner we trust.
